Copyright protection of electronic documents

The bachelor thesis is focused on the copyright protection of electronic documents. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the electronic document and various types of files that can be encountered while working on a computer and consider them as electronic documents. The fundamental part of the theoretical part is the analysis of various copyright protection methods for electronic documents. In the practical part was created a Python application based on mentioned analysis. The application implements selected methods of copyright protection.

Bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of the electronic documents, especially in the area of their archiving. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The analysis of the electronic document position in the Czech legal environment is a significant and essential part of the thesis. The analysis is included in the theoretical part of the thesis. Based on the theoretical knowledge, we created an application for the electronic document management system, which is the subject of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis. The application itself represents a repository in the accordance with § 562 paragraph 2 of the Civil Code.

Electronic Legal Transaction: Comparative analysis with emphasis on the use of electronic signature under the EU law and laws of the Czech Republic and Germany

Electronic Legal Transaction: Comparative analysis with emphasis on the use of electronic signature under the EU law and laws of the Czech Republic and Germany Abstract (English) Objectives. This thesis provides a comparative analysis of electronic legal transactions under the EU law and laws of the Czech Republic and Germany, while emphasising the utilisation of higher versions of electronic signature, especially of a qualified electronic signature, which has legal effects of a handwritten signature in legal transactions performed by electronic means (Chapters 6 to 10). At the same time, increased attention is also paid to entirely novel concepts of advanced and qualified electronic seal, which are intended exclusively for use by juristic persons. The laws under scrutiny are based especially on recently adopted Regulation (EU) No 910/2014, known as eIDAS.
